THE APEX HUNT
Four seats. One helicopter. Three days in the West Texas brush.
A private helicopter hog hunt on 2.5 million acres of West Texas ranch land. Four seats, reserved for the Hunt for Success network. Not a hunting trip. A room you have to be invited into.
Success isn't a trophy. It's a pursuit.
The same instincts that built your business (preparation, precision, decisive action under pressure) are the instincts this hunt is built around. This is where Hunt for Success takes the conversation off the mic and into the field, next to the kind of operators who understand that the pursuit is the point.
Dr. Sam McGough: "Every great hunt starts with preparation. So does every great business. This trip is both."
Three days. Fully outfitted.
Every detail is handled so you can be fully present in the field. Written out plainly so you don't have to email and ask.

Sam handles the coordination once your seat is confirmed: licensing, travel timing, and what to actually pack.
This package removes all the logistics, so all that's left is the experience, and the adrenaline.
The hunt is the setting. The room is the point.
The helicopter, the ranch, the range. All of it is real, and all of it is worth the trip. But it isn't the rarest thing here. The rarest thing is the other three people in the room.
Four seats aren't sold. They're chosen. Sam builds each group by hand, which means three days with operators who've built real things and carried the same weight you have. No pitching, no performing, no explaining what it costs to make payroll in a bad month. Just the kind of conversation that doesn't happen at a conference, because nobody here is trying to be seen.
"You can book a hunt anywhere. You can't book the room."
Deliberately not for everyone.
Four seats means we'd rather have the right four than the first four. If two of these land, you should put your name in.
You've built something.
A company, a practice, a portfolio. You've made payroll in a bad month and you know what that costs. The conversations here assume that as the starting point rather than the destination.
You'd rather do it than hear about it.
No prior hunting experience needed. Full instruction is part of the trip and every firearm is provided. What matters is that you're the kind of person who says yes to the thing and books it. Must be 18 or over.
You're not here to network.
Nobody is pitching anybody. If a deal comes out of it, fine. But the reason to come is three days with people who understand the specific weight of the thing you're carrying, and don't need it explained.
Built by operators. Run by professionals.
The Apex Hunt runs in partnership with Texas's only full-time helicopter hog hunting outfit: full-time pilots, a dedicated ground crew, a private chef, and a lodge built for guests who expect first-class execution. Hunt for Success curates the guest list. They run the hunt.
This isn't a hunting camp. It's a lodge.
Between hunts you're not roughing it. You're staying at a private ranch built to host serious guests. First-class lodging, a private chef, and a full-time staff mean the only thing on the schedule is the next thing you want to do.
"You'll hunt hard during the day and eat better than you do at home at night. That balance is the whole point."
The reviews are already in.
From guests of Helicopter Pig Hunting, the outfit running the hunt.
"First class operation with excellent people to help you."
David Turner"This is by far the best guided hunt I have ever been on."
Joe Booker"One of the best trips we have ever taken."
Brandon ScottOnly four seats. No exceptions.
This isn't a public booking page. It's a private application. Four seats keep the group small enough to actually hunt, eat, and talk together, not stand in line. Once four are confirmed, this hunt closes.

Submit your application below. Sam personally reviews every request.
This isn't a checkout. Fill this in and Sam will call you personally to talk through the dates, the logistics and whether it's the right fit, both directions. Nothing is charged until you've spoken to him and said yes.
Your information is read only by Sam and the Hunt for Success team. We don't share it with third parties or add you to any list without your permission.
"Success is earned. Freedom is designed."
What you should know.
Do I need a hunting license?
Yes. A valid Texas hunting license, and it has to be on you in the helicopter. A 5-day non-resident license covers the trip. Sam sorts out the details once your seat is confirmed.
What if I've never hunted before?
Good. This is built to work as a first hunt. There is a full safety briefing and shooting instruction before you fly, and every firearm is provided. What matters is that you show up ready to do it.
Is this a group hunt with strangers?
No. Groups are never mixed. Your four seats are your group, and no one else is on the property while you are there.
What's not included?
Airfare to San Angelo, your Texas hunting license, alcohol (BYOB), and gratuities. Ground transport from San Angelo Regional (SJT) is covered once you land.
How is this different from booking the ranch directly?
This seat is hosted through Hunt for Success. You're joining a small, vetted group of builders Sam has put together, not a general booking.
